To flex that hate, for enemies here
Best to attack people they feared.
Looked for Mexicans to pummel
Riots broke out on the double
For days civilians and soldiers both
sought out Zoot Suiters who they loath
Many are hurt, and some are killed
The mob allowed to act at will
Police never exercised their oath
In a city, that was once called
Nuestra Señora de Los Angeles
Our Lady of the Angels
Racial profiling? We're appalled!
